20.06.2021 ZEN DAY & KOTEN ROSHI ONLINE DHARMA TALK

We would like to inform you that the next Zen Day, at Zen Center Athens will take place on Sunday 20 June from 10:00 to 18:00.

We will have 6 zazen periods with Kinhin, in between, and a lunch break.  We will have the special opportunity to connect and listen to Koten Roshi talk on chapter 6 of Shobogenzo-zuimonki. The Master has pointed out to us that for better monitoring of the speech, the chapter should have been read by the participants.

For those who will follow the Zen Day from  home, note that, our connection to the zoom platform will happen only during the talk  & discussion, which this time will be different from the standard one, due to our connection with the Master and so it will be 12: 00-13: 30. The program of zazen periods  will be followed by each one individually in his space with the appropriate adjustments. You will receive the link of the Sangha connection before the last zazen seat, at 11:00.

Please, be  at the site strictly until 10:10. After the start of Zazen and once the door to Zendo is closed, it will not be possible to enter. The lunch break takes place at the Zen Center and in silence. Anyone can bring their own food. Alternatively, we can organize the meal which will include rice with vegetables and you should inform us in time by sending an email to: [email protected].

The cost of the meal is 5 €.

For those who will be participating in the Zen Day at the Center, we would like to remind you that you need to make a reservation and for the safety of all, to present one of the 3 certificates provided by the required measures against the spread of Covid-19 and prove that their holder has been vaccinated. of the disease, that he has been tested for COVID-19 with a negative result or that he has recovered from the disease.

In addition, everyone will enter the area with a mask that will come out in the dojo and zento if required for the needs of the lesson.
