NEWS
Dear practitioners and friends of Zen Center Athens. We wish you from the bottom of our hearts a Merry Christmas and a New Year with Health, Happiness and Creativity. By staying connected to the present, we stay connected to our potential. The practice of zazen is the way to develop and nurture the connection with the true, natural Self, which manifests and is experienced only in the present moment. We therefore urge you to continue your practice during the holidays, and keep the inner flame lit. Zazen will continue until Thursday 23/12 and will start again on Monday 3/1. On…
Dear practitioners and members of Zen Center Athens, We inform you that due to the effort to avoid the spread of the coronavirus, Rohatsu Sesshin (30/11 to 5/12/2021) needs to be cancelled, as its realization means close contact and coexistence of the participants during the five days. The next Sesshin will take place in Serifos, from 1 to 5 March 2022 (arrival on 28/2), where there is greater security as accommodation is in single rooms and the exercise area has more than adequate ventilation. More information can be found on our page, Kaisanji Retreats. Thank you very much.
Dear Sangha and Zen Center Athens friends. We have created a new page on our website where you can find videos from Koten Roshi’s recent online dharma talks and older videos from our teachers and guest teachers. You can visit the Audiovisual Material page to enjoy these talks. It is a great way to stay connected to the teachings, coming back from now and then and watching them with a fresh eye, or as the Teachers say, with a beginner’s mind. Gassho
