TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF ZEN CENTER ATHENS. TRANSITIONING WITH GRATITUDE AND PRESENCE.

Dear friends and practitioners,

Zen Center Athens has been operating and flourishing for ten years in the place we all have lived and know. The time has come to make a change that will lead to the final destination, which is to house the Zen Center in its permanent location, at 76 – 80 Agisilaou Street in Keramikos, in a Center specifically designed and built to house the Sangha and the Arts.

Temporarily, however, from 8/1/24 onwards, Zen and the Arts will be housed in the following spaces:

• Zen and Yoga at DAN.C.CE, 76 Pireos Avenue, Athens (opposite the new building of Zen Center).
• Aikido at the OAKA Cycling Stadium, Marousi.
• Iaido at Furyu Dojo, 14 Nikiforou Lytra, Psychiko (within the premises of the private training center Villa Emilia).

So, on the occasion of the transfer of the Center and the coming of the New Year, we would like to invite you to celebrate together the ten years of operation and dharma transmission of Zen Center Athens, on Sunday, January 7 at 19:00.

There will be a discussion on the work of Zen Center Athens, short talks by the Center’s Teachers and testimonies from practitioners.

The evening will close with a zazen, buffet and music.
